Vulture: New painting work in progress 8

This is the first time I've ever done a painting using this technique so the glazing process is new for me over a grey scale. I was a little tentative at first but it is going better now.

I was working with glazes that were too thin at first but now I am more comfortable. To see the other steps read on after the break.

Here I applied another glaze of blue to the wall and some green I mixed to his jacket.

Then I went over the green with some darker values for the shadows.

I added the green to the bowl and his feathers and also
darkened the shadows in the background a little more.

Here I added some alizarin crimson to the green in the shadows to get a little more depth.
I will probably start on flesh tones tomorrow.
