This is the next image in my series of paintings from the Edward S. Curtis Collection in the Library of Congress. I plan on doing quite a few of these as they really are powerful images to me. The entire series of photos is just a joy browsing through and I recommend the experience highly. Here is a link to the Collection. This is the sepia original from the Curtis Collection. I then converted to grey scale, adjusted the contrast and did some touch up. Next switched to RGB mode and colorized the image.
Here is the colorized image. All work was done using Photoshop CS5.
