Vulture: New painting work in progress 7

I found I can get a darker "black" by mixing the ultramarine blue with raw umber instead of burnt umber so I went through the painting and punched up the darkest areas. I also started glazing color on the background today, just a thin blue glaze to start.

To see the step by step photos read on after the break.

Continued to work on the people in the bowl.

Here I refined the shape of the Illuminati plaque.

I refined the shape of the bread and darkened the deepest shadows more.

Added the lettering back on the plaque and darkened more shadows.

Blue glaze on the background using ultramarine blue and cerulean blue
mixed very thin in linseed oil with a little turps.
I also blocked in the blue color on some of the signs in the bowl.
