I continued on my Coopers Hawk painting this morning.
Here is what it looks like right now.

I started adding some feather detail to the head and chest.
I decided I wanted some sky showing through the foliage so I dabbed in some Cerulean Blue in the background. While I was at it I thought some more color in the background would also be a good idea. Then I continued adding feather detail.
Then I finally refined the darker shadow areas to pop the Hawk off the background.
Now it's time to stare at it for a while to decide what I need to do next.
