Coopers Hawk Watercolor Work in Progress 3

I had to give my Hawk a little diet, he was getting a little large around the middle.
Here is the painting as it sits right now.

To see the step by step photos read on after the break.

Yesterday I was looking at the painting in the evening and noticed I had made him way too fat,
so I scrubbed off some paint in the lower right hand side
and also narrowed his wing and now he looks better.

Here I refined his beak and wing some more, added a reflected highlight on his body next to a darker background color in the lower right hand side. I also started playing with the eye shape.

I straightened his beak and made the right eye larger. I also added some detail to the eyes.

Finally today I darkened the shadow on the right side of his body
and added some detail to the feathers on his wing and body.
I'll nitpick everything tonight and paint some more tomorrow.
