Still trying to get into the watercolor swing with these small 11"x14" paintings. This one is from a photograph of a Cheetah I took at the Animal Ark last month.
This is the sketch and first washes of color from last night.
This morning I added darker washes to the shadow areas. I wanted to cool the shadows down with Blues and that also complements the Oranges of the cat.
