I did a little more painting today. I roughed in the final position of Grandfather Buzzard and started putting in some color. Tomorrow I need to start thinking about my background.
I'm not sure I leave it like the mock up. Here is how it looks now.

I changed the proportions some and blocked in more
highlights and shadow with White and Paynes Grey.
Next I started adding color.
I thought Ultramarine Blue and Purple was royal looking for the robes.
Here I refined his staff and fleshed out the highlights in his face a little more.
