New Watercolor Painting Work in Progress "Cheetah" 2

I've been working pretty steady on this one. Here it is at it sits on the easel right now.

I think its at the nitpicking stage now. Tomorrow I will add
a little more detail work and then call it done.

To see the step by step photos and description of how I got to this point read on after the break.

Here I started defining shadow areas with Ultramarine Blue.

Still refining shapes with shadows and some negative painting.

I washed in some purple in the background to complement the
yellow and orange and then continued refining shapes with shadows.

Started adding deep shadows and detail in the eyes.
I also scrubbed back some highlights in the nose and head.

More dark shadows and started adding his spots.
I also washed the background with Ultramarine Blue

Really darkened in the spots and added more depth and color to the background.
Tomorrow I will rub off the maskoid on his whiskers and scratch in some random hair highlights.
