I started adding detail on the Vultures head today. Makes a big difference.

I started by continuing the green color of the feathers onto his head and gave him some rosy cheeks.
I added back some white highlights and refined the eye shape a little.
Added some texture to the head feathers, knocked the color back a little
and intensified the shadow under his beak.
Changed the shape of the feathers on his head and refined his beak a little more.
